This hand thrown cauldron mug, is sculpted into a pumpkin shape and stands on 4 hand sculpted feet. The Lid is thrown in two parts, then attached, and decorated with hand sculpted ants, created using slip, then hand painted with underglaze. Strawberry is sculpted out of red and green tinted clay. Pigments are wedged into clay by hand.
It is 6.75" tall with lid and 6.5" wide, holds 16 fl oz.
It was bisque fired to cone 04 (1945° F), A combination of hand painted glazing and dipping was used for this piece then fired to cone 6 (2232° F).
Lid is HAND WASH ONLY because of delicate details.
The pumpkin mug by itself IS dishwasher and microwave safe.
